I am Professor of Philosophy at Harper College, in Palatine, IL.Â
I primarily teach critical thinking, ethics and introductory philosophy, among other courses, as well as regular courses for our Honors Program. I recently began teaching Applied Ethics for Artificial Intelligence as part of Harper's AI & Cloud Computing Program.
I have ongoing research interests in the ethics of generative AI, as well as how and to what extent tools like web search and generative AI can assist in critical thinking.
I enjoy cycling, chess and photography. I enjoy learning with my young children. I like to see dance at Harris Theater. I enjoy making tall piles of books to read and reading some of them.
